Bredin Prat advises Coalition Capital in connection with the planned acquisition of French football club Stade Malherbe Caen

Bredin Prat is advising Coalition Capital, the investment entity of Interconnected Ventures, with a view to the acquisition of the shares owned by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management LP in Stade Malherbe Caen.

The parties are now committed to following the validation process with the relevant authorities.

PAC Invest, Pierre-Antoine Capton’s investment company, will remain a shareholder of the club and will thus become Coalition Capital’s partner.

This acquisition will enable Stade Malherbe Caen to benefit from additional strategic resources to reinforce its sports policy, modernise its infrastructures and set up innovation projects.
