Bredin Prat advises the iliad Group as it enters into exclusive negotiations with private equity firm InfraVia

Bredin Prat is advising the iliad Group, a French group specialized in the telecoms sector, as it enters into exclusive negotiations with InfraVia, a leading independent private equity firm in Europe which focuses on infrastructure assets, to form a strategic partnership aimed at developing a major European hyperscale data center platform.

As part of the transaction, the iliad Group would sell a 50% equity stake in its subsidiary OpCore, an entity specialized in operating data centers and valued at an enterprise value of €860 million, to InfraVia.

In line with this, the iliad Group and OpCore aim to support the expansion of Scaleway, the iliad Group’s cloud subsidiary, with Scaleway retaining its status as a privileged client of OpCore and enabling OpCore to position itself among the future leaders in infrastructure for AI.
