Bredin Prat advises Santander in connection with the sale of its 30.5% stake in CACEIS to Crédit Agricole S.A.

Bredin Prat is advising Santander, the leading Spanish banking group, as it signs an agreement with a view to the sale of its 30.5% stake in the asset servicing entity CACEIS to Crédit Agricole S.A. Upon completion of the transaction, Crédit Agricole S.A. will own 100% of the share capital of CACEIS.

The transaction remains subject to the customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to complete in the course of 2025.
