In 2021, he was appointed Vice President of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
In 2014, he won the prestigious Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) Prize for Advocacy in International Commercial Arbitration on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the ASA. This prize is awarded every two years to “counsel who, through their exceptional talents in advocacy, significantly contribute to the promotion of effective resolution of international commercial disputes through arbitration”.
