Bredin Prat advises Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel in connection with the acquisition of the remaining stake in Cofidis Group’s share capital not already owned by it

Bredin Prat is advising Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel in connection with the acquisition of the remaining stake in Cofidis Group’s share capital from Argosyn, which still owned 20%. Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel has been Cofidis Group’s principal shareholder since 2009.

Thanks to this transaction, Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, the ninth largest bank in the eurozone, now owns the whole of the share capital of Cofidis Group, the European online financial services specialist (consumer credit, buy now-pay later schemes, insurance), which has more than 10 million customers in nine European countries.
