Bredin Prat advises Danone on the sale of its EDP business in Russia to Vamin R

Bredin Prat is advising Danone, a leading global food and beverage company listed on Euronext Paris, on the sale of its Essential Dairy & Plant-based products (EDP) business in Russia to Vamin R LLC.

On 14 October 2022, Danone announced its decision to initiate a process to transfer the control of its EDP business in Russia. On 16 July 2023, a presidential decree placed Danone Russia under temporary external administration of the Russian authorities.

Danone, after obtaining the necessary Russian regulatory approvals on 22 March 2024, announced on 17 May 2024 that completion of the disposal had taken place.
