Bredin Prat advises La Mutuelle Générale in connection with a partnership being established with CNP Assurances to create a leading player in the social protection market

Bredin Prat is advising La Mutuelle Générale in connection with the negotiation and signing of binding agreements to create, in partnership with CNP Assurances, a leading player in the field of social protection. The proposed partnership involves CNP Assurances acquiring a majority stake in a company to which La Mutuelle Générale will have first transferred its health and personal protection insurance activities.

The proposed partnership had already been approved by the employee representative bodies of each of the two groups in May 2024, as well as by their respective governance bodies, notably by the general meeting of La Mutuelle Générale held on 7 June 2024.

Actual implementation of the project is subject to obtaining the various approvals and authorisations from the relevant authorities.
