Bredin Prat advises the restaurant chain Courtepaille in connection with its court-supervised insolvency proceedings and its acquisition by La Boucherie

Bredin Prat is advising the companies New Court and Foncière New Court, which operate the Courtepaille restaurant chain, in connection with their court-supervised insolvency proceedings opened by the Commercial Court of Nanterre on 30 March 2023.

The restaurant group La Boucherie based near Angers in western France has bought the whole franchise network, representing more than 70 restaurants, pursuant to the terms of a judgment issued on 21 June 2023, as well as nearly a dozen owned restaurants. Five restaurants have also been bought by independent operators. La Boucherie has undertaken to facilitate access to the franchise for employees of existing restaurants.

The court-appointed administrators are Frédéric Abitbol and Jonathan El Baze.
