The firm has extensive experience in the labor aspects of M&A transactions and strategic reorganisations and assists clients from the early stages of the deal or reorganisation to its execution. The firm is regularly asked to advise international groups in connection with complex multi-level employee representative information and consultation procedures, before the European works council and company-level works councils and health and safety committees.
The employment law team assists companies in negotiating and concluding collective bargaining agreements, including framework agreements, renegotiation of collective benefits, strategic workforce planning, working hours, etc… The team also advises on the implementation of employee assessment policies and systems and on issues of equal treatment and non-discrimination. The team also assists companies in devising and implementing job protection plans.
